Proper connect on Raidmax case and fans?

I have recently purchased a Raidmax case with two fans on the side. Each fan has four wires that connect to a female connector plug, which then splits off to a male plug. Is the proper way to instal this is to connect INLINE with say a hard drive or some thing?

Second, there is a six wire power connector coming from the Raidmax 350W power supply. What is that for?

Lastly, does anyone have any feedback on the Raidmax 350W power supply? I have now looked online for the company home page for Raidmax and have found nothing. A little disturbing. I can find lots of their products online though, so that is a little reasuring.

Lastly, any good tips for someone putting together their first computer from scratch, please list tips and suggestions.:D

I have the same case 468WP or something. It looks good but impractical for airflow solutions. There are 4 fan slots up front + 2 exhaust fans on the side panel near the base & 1 60mm on the back, underneath the PS.

Ideally, a case would suck in air from the front or from intakes near the base. Then the air would be blown out from the rear or top the top of the case. The case must also be of low pressure - more air getting sucked out than sucked in. The problems with this case are:

a) The 60mm fan in the rear wont be powerful enough - unless u really dig around.
b) The 4 front-panel fans are blocked by the front panel. This means that they can barely serve as an intake, not as an exhaust.
c) The side fans are close to the base - therefore they should serve as intakes.
d) There are no no fan slots on top

Consequently, the case will have high pressure, which sucks.

IMHO, the only way out is to cut 2 80mm fan slots on the top and hook them up with good quality, powerful fans. Calculate how much air the 2 side panel fans + the front panel fans (if u're planning on installing any to cool your hard drive) suck in. Then make sure that the 3 exhaust fans that u'll put in (rear 60mm + top 2 x 80mm) pump out more than the intakes. Its a frikkin headache, I haven't even started on mine.

Hey, the USB's on these Raidmax cases have the usual USB connections plus an extra wire which is ground. Should I worry about that?

Also, couldnt you just spice the two usb connections from the front, and from my MSI 655 MAX Fisr board spice the two USB connections from the D bracket together into one. As I understand it USB can connect Many devices to one port via some chain method or some thing, and with only bottle kneck problems. Is that true?? Bascially I want to use the bluetooth connection from the board that replaces the USB at some point, and would still like lots of USB access. In truth I probably will just use the front connections and the four board ones on the back, but still it would be cool to do.:D
