Proper Airflow Questions.

I would make the side fan blow onto the GPU and make the CPU cooler push.

But, those are things you can play with to figure out what works best for you and your case.

Ok so this is the way it is currently setup, although the case came with a 240mm side fan it does not fit with the cpu cooler. So the side panel is just mesh at this point. Would it be worth while to put another intake fan on the side door to give the gpu more fresh air?

Does your case have any cable management features? All those wires impede airflow. If you're tinkering with airflow and fan positions anyway, you might find it worthwhile to also spend an hour or two getting those cables out of the way.

The wires don't impede with airflow, they're just wires. Air will find a way around them just fine - the effect on temperatures is next to zero. The reason cable management is done is for tidier looks and more convenient

justin4pack - it doesn't look like you have a lot of options there. But the way you've set it up now looks fine 🙂

So even with.the fans setup the way they are i cant seem to drop my video card load temp. Would a side.intake fan help? Or.maby a good.slot fan?

It will help, but likely only mildly... the problem seems to be the videocard. One fan, and really limited airflow.

It's a good enough design, just too small... you'll probably have to use a fan controller to get temps decent (assuming you aren't just being paranoid about the temps it's running at right now, if it's under 70C it's fine, even <80 is alright unless it's for hours and hours).

Using Catalyst/AMD OverDrive... set the fan to 60%... play some games or whatever... how's the temps?

Mine (7750, single fan, part slot exhaust, part internal) sits at 39% fan speed pretty much all the time, it's not till the temp gets to about 65C that it starts speeding up and even then it's only to about 45%... hardest I've ever pushed it, and it still barely breaks 50% using the internal/auto regulator... but it also never gets above ~72C. On max/100%, the fan screams like a little b**ch... lol, but it'll also never get above like 42C.

What are you talking about? Anything that doesn't allow air to pass unrestricted impedes airflow. A single cable is not a huge deal, but the problem is they add up rather quickly. You want your airflow as unrestricted as possible.
