I love my Weber. I have had it for 4 years now with no problems. When and if it ever goes, I'll have another Weber. I have the Genesis. I can't speak of the Spirit in the ad.
I have never owned a gas grill.
BUT my sister has a Genesis gas grill and its going on 7 years. Its a fricken tank! very nice grill.
<snob>I'm a charcoal purist</snob>. However, I saw this awesome baby locally for $199 last week:

That way, you could use charcoal (the correct way to cook outdoors) or propane.
I can vouch for the Genesis as well. Great grill. I high suggest Weber, especially since it is very easy to find replacement parts for it. If you buy one you will be able to use it for a very long time.
jlee, at your price point, I think you're best off searching your local Craigslist for anything with decent burners and ease of cleaning. Small tabletop models work quite well unless you're cooking for a group.
That's why there are two Craigslist links in my OP. I'm looking for something big enough to cook for a small crowd.
Yes, leave all the propane grilling indoors. :sneaky:That way, you could use charcoal (the correct way to cook outdoors) or propane.
I did see your links and just wanted to let you know that you will not find any new models, from any manufacturer, as good for the money.
