The strange thing about that political ad with the nuclear bomb and the little girl is that it was shown only once before it was pulled, yet when polled at the time, many Americans claimed they saw it multiple times.

<< As far as trolling goes, I would say that those who invent daggers out of the air, plunge them into their heart, and attack the supposed offender with great manufactured indignity are themselves a kind of troll, a silly troll. >>

I am not always a fan of moonbeam's posts, but that was some classic stuff. It may well be the most eloquent "In your face, bitch!" that I have ever read.

You go girl!

<< only subtle methods of propaganda work while the blatantly obvious propaganda films only deter from being influenced >>

I would agree - most Americans don't realize that they are being brainwashed even as we speak....

I would argue that Americans in general don't "get" something until you beat it into our heads repeatedly. Subtle is not a word that defines either American propaganda/advertising or the psyche of its population.

"Could you please consider the possibility that your observations are dilusional the figment of an overwrought sensitivity and masked sense of inferiority and that any disgust you experience is self generated and about yourself."

dilusional, figment of an overwrought sensitivity and masked sense of inferiority...self generated and aboutmyself.

I'll end my obviously futile attempt to convert the verbatim whore, with what i said before.

"I don't know who burnt your cookies but your sarcasm can be quite offending. Rest assured there is atleast one person who thinks so."

My cookies aren't burnt, I'm not upset, not even with you. Everything's OK over here. Hope you are too. My sarcasm, as you call it, my take on things, wasn't meant to offend. But if you are offended I am sorry, but also, it's not my responsibility. You have to take responsibility for how you feel. If things upset you that shouldn't or that weren't meant to, that really is your problem. I'm not going to quit being who I am while waiting for you mellow.
