"Prop" rock bands . . . if it weren't for the weirdness, would they be interesting?

XMan

Lifer
Off the top of my head . . .

Gwar . . .

Slipknot . . .

White Zombie/Rob Zombie . . .

Hmm, oh yeah, KISS.

I'm trying to think of some more . . . 😉

They played some kind of death metal sh!t over the radio at work today (I work in a grocery store). It was the kind where they growl when they talk, and they customer just looked at me with the funniest face I have ever seen. We usually play either 60's stuff or very pc friendly pop, stuff that you wouldn't hardly notice it was on. When I heard that song I bust out laughing. I just find the genre to be kind of stupid, but everyone to their own.

I almost didn't put them on the list 'cause I like them
I'm a big fan.....have been since I was 4......got their album Hotter than Hell when it came out as my first album ever on my 4th birthday.

That's almost as bad as my dad taking me to see "The Wall" when I was 5.

Now that would have been cool......

Pretty cool having a badass album collection that people are in awe of when they see it. I can't tell you how many people have gone nuts over the fact that I have tons of albums. Including all KISS, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and many more on vinyl. Well at least the ones that were made before they stopped pressing them.
