yep, he's a regular guy...who cares dearly about the enviroment!!

Naushon Island stretches for seven pristine miles, a glittering jewel of land off the coast of Massachusetts where Kerry, under the arcane rules of a Forbes family trust, can spend time each year hunting, sailing, horseback windsurfing, vegging out or whatever else moves him.
The bucolic island is essentially a private Forbes-owned family preserve with a few dozen cottages and a mounted caretaker on patrol to toss off interlopers ? and you can expect to hear more about it as the sharp elbows start flying in Kerry?s presidential race.
The retreat, the largest privately owned island in Massachusetts, seems lifted from a page of ?The Great Gatsby? ? making it prime fodder for Republicans seeking to morph Kerry?s image into a ?Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous? episode.
Kerry uses the island as a showcase when big-foot political journalists like Joe Klein cozy up to write long profiles. The senator hosted the Clintons on Naushon twice back in 1993 and ?94.
Motor vehicles are banned on the island. Horses and antique carriages are the favored modes of transport.
?They?ve got a guy out there on horseback who rides around and guards the island for them,? one gleeful Republican operative, who had obviously done his homework on the island, told me over lunch a few weeks ago.
I guess this must prove he cares about the enviroment!
The Boston Herald doesn't seem to like it's native son

the Boston Herald has now run a series of articles that are extremely unflattering of Kerry...

apparently someone at the Boston Herald "cares" about this even if you don't.

They?ve pumped up stories about Teresa Heinz Kerry?s failure to release her tax returns, Kerry?s gas-guzzling SUVs and Kerry?s $175,000 profit from the sale of a seascape painting by a 17th century Dutch Master. Republicans have mocked Kerry for looking French. They circulated emails to reporters with his wife?s quote comparing the senator to a ?good wine.?

Oh no! He really is the devil!

I sure do love how most of the arguements people make are pointless and don't go to actual issues that matter to be the President.

Well when there's nothing that can be said that is good about the candidate you suppoprt your only other option is to find negative things about his opponent.

This still pales in comparison to Bush's track record on the enviroment. Seriously, your efforts to malign Kerry at all costs just keep growing more feeble HS.

Think you need more schooling HS, this was your most pathetic and weakest attempt to date. I feel I have lost 2 IQ points having read it and now I am sour :( At my age, I can ill afford such losses, I beg of you, please back away from the keyboard and count to 10 next time you feel inclined to "get" Kerry again.

It's hard to imagine people attacking Kerry when we have a living breathing catastrophe as our President. All efforts should be directed at removing that disaster.

WTF is it with bush's cheerleader squad attacking kerry for things bush is much worses. Like the army bullshit bush served in the national graud as cocaine specialist and kerry serves in vietnam yet they bash kerry. Now bashing kerry over marrying into money when bush was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

geez you guys are harsh!

i posted a news article from a major Boston newspaper, which i felt clearly showed that Sen. Kerry really does cares about the enviroment (at least on his private island), and i get dissed.

this was a positive post about Kerry's enviromental achievements....

come on know, your turn to say something positive about Bush!

i'm "going positive" from now on in my posts, just like Kerry called for...no "negative" posts.

Actually HS's role is to remind us that Kerry isn't that much better than Bush and he fulfills his role admirably

He is failing miserably... I don't even know what this attack on Kerry is even about.

I think this is really reaching, I see no problem with this or the fact he has money. I would own an island if I could. :D

Would have helped if your party had found a suitable candidate for replacement. :p
