well, as for the deformed heads, i remember an article somewhere that people would deform a baby's head while it was still soft so it can be shaped like that.
A lot of people in china do something similar by having the baby sleep with its head facing up. If you know some chinese friends, put your hand behind their heads, and see if it's flat.
How does that support the claim in your thread title? I'm fairly sure I would notice some guy that tall wandering around.

in early american cultures the nobles would wrap the heads of their babies, causing it to look like that later in life, similiar to wrapping the feet of chinese and taiwanese women back in the day.
I don't know about the toadstool guy, though.

The giant skeleton is almost certainly faked. A real giant tribe would have to have different proportions in order for the bones to support the weight.
Many cultures deformed body parts for some reason ( China and foot binding, the disks in the lips and ears in parts of Africa,
and, perhaps, the stomachs of late 20th century Americans )
If aliens did visit Earth, the did so millions of years ago. The Earth has been a life supporting water bearing world for 100's of millions of year. They would have noticed that long ago. They would be more in the order of Lovecraft's work than Spielberg's work.
