I stopped listening when he said that if we believe that we are not intelligently designed, we have no control over our thoughts... I am not a steadfast believer in evolution but he's just an idiot.

Faith simply cannot be proven or disproven, by its very definition. If there is proof, it isn't faith anymore.

Saying that there is no god gives more responsibility to us to be good. We not only must follow ethical laws, but we must formulate and enforce them ourselves. My view is that we're on our own here on this tiny ball of rock. If we screw things up, it's our own problem, brought on by our own choices.
And frankly, atheist or not, I think most people want to live in a peaceful world, and just calmly go about their lives, finding happiness. To do that, certain rules must be put in place to act as guides to maintain order. We craft those rules in a manner which allows a wide margin of individual freedom, while still restricting certain behaviors which would be detrimental to society. It's up to us to determine which behaviors must be restricted, and I think that's a pretty big responsibility - a self-governing species, one which realizes that it is sentient, one which realizes that it has great potential for destruction, and one which realizes that it must restrain itself in order to not only survive, but thrive. I think being capable of that, all by ourselves, says a lot about us.

He clearly doesn't understand the concept of evolution... the knife-fork argument really put his entire credibility out the window. Also, the human giant fossils were proven to be a hoax.
