Yup, Ted Kennedy always went on a diet before an election year.

I'm guessing he'll run. I'm more curious to hear whether or not he bothers to start running on a treadmill, too.

How can we expect someone to take care of the country if they can't take care of themselves?

Bush - Ran in DC all the time
Obama - Plays hoops for realz

Obviously two shining examples of the above question

Obvious troll is obvious guys... Personal responsibility isn't just something to preach. WTG Christie, wish him well and a lot of hard work, exercise, exercise, exercise... I don't begrudge people who take the shortcut.

If he does run he will be perhaps the best candidate fielded by the GOP in decades. Frankly I don't think he is crazy enough to get the nomination.

This along with all the other leeches on welfare
I know. So many of them keep offshoring their billions of dollars, and paying millions to lawyers and creative accountants so that they can pay next to nothing in taxes.

Oh wait...you probably meant the other ones, on the distantly-far end of the spectrum.

Ya ever think in the middle of the night.... when Mr. Christie sneaks down to the fridge.... for a late night snack... that for those in the house.... it's a re-enactment of the opening scene from Jurassic Park?

*Wump!!!! ahhhh..... *Wump!!!! ahhhh.... *Wump!!!

What do you think wil be tougher, him dropping 100lbs or getting past GOP primary?

GOP primary.. definitely. A trip to Pluto would be easier than anyone sensible like him making it through the GOP primary.

Maybe if the government didn't bully businesses and tell them how to operate we would have more jobs. As long as big government makes it harder for businesses to operate and keeps taxing them they will continue to do this.

You have no right to their money.

Seems like Christie has a solid head on his shoulders. No way he'll get nominated for GOP.

There is always more to the story beyond what we hear.
I'm guessing Christie planned to run, but the RNC told him straight out that they could not get behind him with support and funds unless he addressed the weight issue, which no doubt the RNC seen as a huge obstruction to the path for a win.
Lose the weight, we're with you. Otherwise, no deal.
That line about concern for his health and his family is typical political BS.
They plan on Hillary as their competition, and Christie could never win one on one.
The weight isn't the issue, not the number one issue, as misguided republicans might assume.
The issue will be Christie's temper, his tendency to lose it, that will turn off the public.
The turn off for the average voter beyond Jersey, more so than the weight.

Business is doing just fine. You do know they are holding onto record amounts of cash.

Awww.. C'mon! He'd only do things like call KimJongUn "Numbnuts".

We should all vote for him just for the entertainment value!
