OH SEE ZEE You See, by the Boot Up's early light
What so loudly does the cpu fan swirl, at the overclocker's last tweaking
Whose broad rails and bright lights, through the perilous bytes
O'ver memory controller we watched, were so gallantly streaming
And the heatsink's red glare, the heatsink bursting in air
Gave proof thro" the night that OCZ was still there.
O say, does that Half Life 2 still play
O'ver the land of the silicon and the home of the OH SEE ZEE

yes. in french, zee is zed. canadian ~ french (sort of)

Similar sound in German too, sharp "s" sound with a t-ish ending

off topic but, Rodney Reynolds is the worst reviewer ever... its like he reads the back of the box and in the end he gives everything a kickass rating.

Nonono, you don't pronounce it as a word. It's an acronym.

An acronym is an abbreviation pronounced like a word (ie. radar, sonar, laser). OCZ is not an acronym, unless it's pronounced 'ox' or something.

Agree.

Yeah, I watch his reviews just so I can see the product better and actually see it in motion.

yea i do that sometimes too. I remember one where he was reviewing the steel gaming glove, and he spent 5 minutes showing how to put it on

Actually, we were both wrong. It can be either. FBI is an acronym, but you don't pronounce it as a word. FUBU is also an acronym, but you DO pronounce it as a word.

Back in the day, I believe their full name was Overclockerz, was it not? I'm talking about way, way back in the day when they were considered a shady outfit.

Indeed it was. I bought an Overclocked Thunderbird from them WAY back when. Their customer service SUCKED then. I think they were working out of Ryan's (founder) garage or something.

But they've improved a LOT. I had a stick of 512MB PC133 that was purchased in the 'Overclockerz' days that went bad and OCZ replaced it with current DDR RAM quickly and without hassle.

Their image has changed too. Back then they were bang for your buck, and they've moved into more of a 'luxury' overclocking market segment, certainly not bang for your buck since the suits took it over. I guess that's the price you pay for good customer service?

i dont see why there is a debate....ocz is an american company, not frickin canadian or european or whoever else that says zed

plus ocz john said its oh see zee

Z=zed everywhere in the world where proper english is spoken. Honor [sic], parlor[sic], color[sic]...all spelled with a "u" as well. Grrrr..

"proper" is subjective btw

This is becoming nothing more then America vs. Europe, there is real english and american english they're both legit launguages, enough already
