Promoted!

Heh, just found out today that some dates were wrong on my Army paperwork and had my administrator fix them. He then promoted me to Private First Class, E-3, in the U.S. Army dated in september. I also found out that next week I'll get promoted to Specialist, E-4. Thats two promotions! Perfect timing, as I'm in the process currently of switching to active duty. (hopefully within the next month the paperwork will be finalized)

Also, did you go into the army right out of highschool? I think with a college degree you get instant lieutenant or higher.

Nawh, i joined after bumming around in college for 2 years and working for another. I got some credits, and eventually plan on finishing a degree, but career army is for me.

Btw, a degree gets you an instant rank of E-4 which is what i have. There is also an option to put in an OCS packet and go through extra training to become an officer with a degree.
