ECS B85H3-M3 (V1.0) LGA 1150 Intel B85 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

$54.99 - 50% + $1.99 ship = $29.50

Since these both use the same promo code, you will need to order both of them together on the SAME ORDER, if you want to order both, because promo codes cannot be used twice.

---

There's no customer limit at this time for the first board. $25 + ship for a B150 board seems like a deal to me. But NO HDMI. Only DVI-D + VGA. It does have front USB3.0, and four SATA6G ports. Two DIMM slots.

Unknown if this board will take Kaby Lake.

http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=825#cpusupport

Mfg site shows * next to KBL CPUs. But doesn't say what that means. Could just require the newest BIOS update, hopefully.

I ordered a few of those B150 boards, I have both Skylake and Kaby Lake CPUs to go with them, let's see how well they work with KBL.

Chances are, with prices this good, these boards will be gone by tomorrow morning, so order now!

Well, some of these (like the B150 board), are DEAD, because the original price has been raised. (To $69.99 before promo code, on the B150.)

AMD 4300 quad core is $70 with a $15 off promo code. Combined with the Biostar Mobo above. $95 shipped for a start to a decent gaming system. Add ram and a GTX 1050. Hard to beat. It will do 1080p easily.

I wouldn't exactly have picked the AMD 4300 for $70 for gaming.

I bought a qty. of the B150 boards, to pair up with G4560 CPUs (even cheaper, at $60 on ebay from Antonline), and may purchase some GTX1050 GPUs to go with them, to sell.

Edit: Got my four B150 boards for $27 ea.. Thanks, Newegg!

PS. Those boards are even sexier in person. The box is pretty snazzy too. Not sure why these are called "HiFi" boards, but Biostar seems to use that moniker a lot for their boards.

Edit: I guess they have a utility, that lets you adjust the headphone impedance-matching, and they have a "HiFi Amp" onboard. Too bad, as I'm using the DVI-D, through an ATI HDMI adapter, and getting audio that way.

Around $5-7 on ebay shipped, last time I looked, for the adapters. I only have two around here, although I know that I've ordered a bunch more in the past. They seem to disappear. :(

Anyways, those Biostar B150 boards will do 4K30 + audio out of the DVI-D port.

The FX4300 is $55 shipped with coupon code.

Like I said. $95 shipped for an AMD Quad core CPU and a 4 ram slot SLI MOBO is a great deal.

Thanks for posting Larry

I really wanted to snag a couple of the AMD boards, but they don't list X6's on cpu support page..

I was looking at the A70U3, it doesn''t list FX or X6 support, but you're right, the TA970 does support them. Maybe yesterday I passed on it because of of user reviews.

edit- price is now $79.99 up from $55 But! add 2 to cart, and the price is $100.80 and the code works for $50.40 off

Uhm, that's because the A70U3 is an FM2/FM2+ mobo, not an AM3/AM3+ mobo. :)

Edit: Sorry, not trying to give you a hard time, just glad that you got the correct board for your CPU(s).

I've got some 95W X6 CPUs too, wondering. They're in current boards already though, one's an AM2+, and one's an AM3, with a BIOS update to take AM3+. (ASRock 990FX Extreme4, not sure if this 970 board is a downgrade.)

Hey, pbroussard, did you get your boards yet? How are they working out for you?

I've built two rigs with those Biostar B150S1 boards, and they went smooth, although initial power-on seems to take like 30 seconds, for the board to "initialize" somehow? It made me think that I screwed up the build, it took awhile. But they are fine now.

Anyways, as a bonus, it appears that those B150S1 boards will do non-Z OC of "K" CPUs? At least, that's what the BIOS menus suggest. I can't actually test, as I don't own any SKL / KBL "K" CPUs. (All of my recent 1151 OCing has been done with SKL using BCLK OC of "locked" CPUs.)

How did those boards work out?

The Biostar B150S1 board is $49.99 + $1.99 ship, currently, at Newegg. I'm keeping my eye on that board, I think that's one of their pseudo-loss-leader boards, that will be put on sale regularly. It's a pretty bare-bones Skylake / Kaby Lake board, with no M.2 socket, so it should be put on sale. All I need is a good, cheap board, to serve as the basis for builds. B150 has PCI-E 3.0, although I'm not sure, but maybe H110 does too, for the CPU-driven PCI-E x16 slot (for dGPU).

BIOSTAR TA970 Ver. 5.3 AM3+ AMD 970

I got two of these and you cannot beat the price and performance if you want AMD. I am installing Win7 Ultimate and building basic 1080p gaming boxes. The Mobos work well and the $55 FX4300 Quad cores run so good.

Great deals.
