When I install the "latest" BIOS, version 2.00b18, listed on the Promise driver site, my drives are not detected on the Promise card (it says "BIOS not loaded, no drives attached"
, however when I revert back to the BIOS that came with the card, version 1.14, everything works fine. HOWEVER, I have the version 1.60b19 (as I understand, the latest driver) driver installed in Windows2000 and I receive event log messages suggesting that my BIOS needs to be updated for best performance. How do I solve this issue?
