Promise Ultra100 controller and HDD not appearing

MASTER and SLAVE HDD on primary ide
MASTER HDD on Ultra100

Everything shows up as working and detected under system properties, but the HDD connected to the controller card does not show up in windows explorer, rendering it useless. Drivers and all that are loaded, all drives detected during start-up and show up as working under system properties.

Any insight would be appreciated...

did you make a partition on the drive? can you see it in the DOS window if you bring one up? --I made the same mistake once

what dbwillis said Use you MaxBlast Floppy for your hard drive if you have not yet done so.

Did you run the drive config utility for the Ultra100 Controller?

That is likely the culprit.
