Promise Ultra 66 and Me

I am having a problem getiing Me and my Promise Ultra66 Raid card to work together with 2 30 Gig IBM Drives...I have my Maxtor 20G running right now on my #1 IDE Channel I've tried fresh installs adding nothing seems to work the system finds the card but when I reboot It doesn't find the drives?? Any advice or insights to what to try next..
