Promise Ultra 100 Performance Driver

Hey,

I just downloaded the performance driver from the Promise Ultra 100 website (that's suppose to have some 40% performance increase). However, they give no documentation as to how to install the drivers? Has anybody ever installed the driver before? I'm running a Windows 2000 platform.

Goodluck I couldnt get it to install since it had no inf file.

However Asus has the latest one... Build 25... it works perfectly. And its not really only for asus it works for any promise controller.

Does it work better than the one that ships with the card (Build 17)?

Yes alot better than Build 17... I had build 19 before and my system would hang for 30 seconds at bootup... now it hangs for about 1 second. These are for the A7V... BUT they work for any Ultra 100 card.... just as any ultra 100 drivers work for the A7V. Anyways here is a link for Build 25. These are for any version of windows... NT4 9X ME and 2000
