I was just wondering what exactly a promise ring is? please no smart-arse answers or anything...
I have always thought it to be a promise that you will spend the rest of your life with them, but i may be wrong, correct me if i am, thanks

generally promise rings are inexpensive smaller diamonds or really anything, rubber bands, etc..
hers is a small princess cut diamond set in platnium

Wow, a diamond for a promise ring, in platinum. What do you mean by inexpensive? Personally I would hold on to my money for the engagement ring, but that is just me.

I typed up a response and hit "Reply". And the page didn't load. I copied my reply so I could relaod the page and paste it and try again. Page still didn't load. I restarted my browser, tried pinging some places. Tried a different computer, and ATOT still didn't load. So, I went and looked at some other sites, looked at af ew things someone sent me on IM, and then came back here and ATOT finally laoded again. So, I went to paste my response here and reply. Apparently while ATOT was not functioning, I had a lapse of judgement and copied something else, overwriting my response. So, due to ATOT's temporary failure, that's what you get to read:

well it wasnt really a 'promise' ring, she wanted a diamond ring, something simple w/o meaning, so i got her one, it was $350...i make money, i spend money
