Promise FastTrak66 and Redhat Linux 7.1

I just got my raid card and I setup to 40gig for striped RAID. I seem to be having a little bit of trouble with it though. When I install Redhat it sees the hds, but at half the size. It continues to install and it finishes successfully. However I can't boot into Redhat without the rescue disk. When I downloaded the drivers it said to go into expert mode and add the raid device, however I was never brought to that screen. I don't know if Linux actually installed drivers for the card or not.

Oops I meant RAID 1 - striping, still though someone has to know!?!
