I purchased this controller today to setup my (first) stripe set .... (2*60GB Maxtor 9 series)
I built the array with setup utility, but while starting the Win2k setup, I'm getting this error after trying to load the Promise driver from the a:\ floppy (invoked by initial F6):
"file txtsetup.oem caused an unexpected error (4096) at line 1041 in d:\nt\private\ntos\boot\setup\oemdisk.c." .. press key to continue "
..at this point no drives are found, and setup can't continue.
Could anyone advice what could be wrong?

UPDATE: solved; bad Sony FDD from Fry's .... purchased 2, and they are BOTH bad ... can't believe the junk they sell lately .....
