PROMISE FASTRACK 100

I have installed a promise fastrack raid controller with 2 wd 20 gig
hard drives. I run 34000 on sandra disc benchmark and am happy with my setup and it's performance. asus a7v amd 800 tbird. My problem is the boot time seems much longer with the raid installed. I have read both the raid controller manual and motherboard manual and have tried several different things with no luck speeding up the boot. Can anyone help?

Remember, your raid controller needs to initialize and verify the integrety of the raid setup. So an additional 20 seconds or so added to your normal start time is to be expected.
