Promise ATA cards and Win XP???

I have a promise card that I never used once I bought a mobo with RAID. But now I'm thinking about getting a new MOBO, that doesn't have RAID, and wondered that if I go to win XP, can the promise card work??? The drivers that I have only work for Win 95/98/2000/NT.

Anyone have any Ideas??

if it's a TX2 raid card then its XP compatible. not sure about the older raid cards though!

I have the plain vanilla Promise ATA-100 card, and yes, Windows XP finds it and configures its self automatically. No need to press F-6 during setup.

Yeah, it works perfectly in WinXP. I am running a TX2 with four HDDs on my Epox 8KHA+.
