"Our only complaint is with limiter that Klipsch has kept in place that limits the amount of power this system will produce from the subwoofer."

Ha, the ProMedias2.1 don't have the limiter! So I guess my speakers remain unmatched ;) Not that this makes a difference though:

"That said, most folks won?t even notice the limiter because by the time it kicks in their ears will be bleeding from the sheer volume."

They look pretty impressive.

I'll wait out 3dss.com's review of them before I make any sweeping statements, but the 4.1s seem to have quelled all my complaints on the v.2-400s and thrown in headphone jack for good measure.

I'd have like to seen a real power switch....but the on/off switch should be good enough really.

Now if only they'd make them with an integrated Dolby Digital Decoder (4.1 would be fine, I don't mind a ghosted center, but an RCA input for DD decoding would be nice :D)

Of course very few speaker sets have 4 channel analog input and dolby digital input, and those that do (*cough* dtt3500 *cough*) don't belong in the same thought as a Klipsch set.

Noriaki, all PM's have a real power switch, alas it's unreachable on the back of the subwoofer! However, you shouldn't be too worried: my tests with SmartUPS reveal that ProMedias' power consumption almost entirely depends on the volume of sound being played. They consume very little power with no sound, or quiet sound.
