promedia 2.1 speakers keep blowing fuse

techy people said its a short some where. anyone know anything on how to fix it yourself or anything?

its going to cost me like $60 to get them repaired by klipsch and the speakers are not worth that much any more.


any thoughts or ideas?

are they over heating? are you blasting your speakers too much? also lower your bass down a bit. And if you were going to spend 60 bucks on repairs, might as well buy new speakers, either logitech 5.1 or Creative.

as soon as i turn on the speakers it blows the fuse. no music at all. power on. boom. fuse is gone.

sounds like bad speakers to me...did u check your connections? make sure all the cables are in correctly, and double check they are in the right sockets.
