I got the ole' screw job both times I went to Prom.

First time: I asked the girl, said she didn't want to be more than friends. Called me 2 hours before tickets were on sale and begged me to go as friends. I caved. She has my balls in a jar somewhere.

Second time: Also asked to attend as a friend at the last second, I got screwed again.

Spend the $350 on alcohol and have a good time instead.

Prom threads popping up everywhere...

I'm a junior, so I've never been to prom, but I'm hoping to go this year. I'm kinda debating whether to ask this one girl, cause I really don't know her, like, at all. We know who each other are because we're both musicians and have played together, but other than that, we've barely had a conversation. She's pretty shy. But reaaaally pretty. Anywho....

man so many of you bitter with your proms. makes me wonder how i lucked out sometimes.

i'd go with a friend if you don't like anyone. if you do, ask them and make it the most special night ever. i did that my senior year.

but then i'm also a girl, so to my winter formal i was ABOUT to go with just all my female friends but we also wound up asking a bunch of our guy friends to come too. 🙂
