Prolimatech Mega on 1155?

Check the manual to see if the bracket is adjustable for 1156 or 1366. As I recall I installed a CM Hyper212+ meant for a LGA1156 on a LGA1155 socket motherboard with no problem at all. The same applies for Megahalem LGA1156.

There are 4 different Prolimatech revisions/coolers.

Prolimatech Megahalems (no Socket 1156 bracket)
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B (includes Socket 1156 bracket) (the box has Rev B inscribed on it)
Prolimatech MegaShadow (includes Socket 1156 bracket)
Prolimatech Super Mega (includes Socket 1156 bracket)

Unless you have the original Megahalems, then you will have your Socket 1156 bracket which is 100% pin-hole compatible with Socket 1155.

If you have the original, you can purchase an adapter for $5.
