Prolem with DAE on my Yamaha 16x10x40 drive

Just recently purchased a Yamaha CRW-2100EZ drive and I LOVE it. 16x burning is just great and it reads super fast as well. The only hitch is that it doesn't perform DAE properly. I've used WinDAC for DAE for the last couple years and it's worked flawlessly for me, but when I use it with the Yamaha it'll fail parway through the first or second track with a "Hardware Error."
Included with the box the drive came in was info about downloading a CD ripping program (I think it was made by the same guys who wrote Prassi), but it also fails on me. The firmware is current, does anyone have any suggestions? Help!

i've had nothin but problems with mine since the 2 short weeks i've owned it 🙁 The only sw i can use w/o burning coasters is nero 5.0 anyone wanta buy it :Q:Q j/k
