Projectors (for powerpoints) - Does anyone know if they typically have this connector?

Ok, I know it is cheesy, but I teach in a poorer area. I know the answer is I probably need to look at it and find out - but I was just curious if any of you knew if most projectors (the kind they use with Powerpoints all the time) will hook up to a computer's normal (not DVI) monitor out?

In otherwords can I just hook up an old computer to a projector with the projector as the main display?

Thanks!

yes, most, if not all, projecters have the standard CRT connection. I haven't heard or seen of any having DVI..hmm

That is good then (it does not have DVI). So just to be careful before I plan this - there is no problem using the projector as the monitor for the duration?
