Projector w/stuck pixel

I put a new lamp in my Infocus 2104 ceiling mounted projector, and a couple months later I notice a stuck pixel. It's bright blue, and definitely stuck, not dead. Another one just showed up tonight. I'm looking for suggestions on how I can fix this before it drives me nuts.

Isn't that a DLP projector? If so, that means you have mirrors that are out of alignment, and/or the servo controller that moves the mirrors that are not responding properly. Not sure what you can do about it, as I never personally owned a DLP (I can "see the rainbow").

There are programs I believe that are effectively stress tests. Just cycles through colors to try and coax the mirror to unstick itself. Don't know any in particular, but I'm sure you can search for 'em.

I found one but it didn't work. Now I've got ten stuck pixels. Do you still say this is unfixable? How long should a standard projector last? This one started blowing pixels just after I changed the bulb, so I guess 2001 hours is the expected lifespan?

the thing with the stick pixel fixer video loop is that it will its only 50/50 on if it works or not and in some cases it can make things worse by stressing pixels and making others stick.

The stuck pixel has grown exponentially over time. The left half of the screen now contains about a couple hundred stuck pixels, but the right only has one at this time. I've contacted Infocus, who have thusfar ignored me completely.

It's obvious that I'll need to replace the projector. Can anyone recommend one? Is there one that will take the same bulb I just used in this projector, or am I just out the $200 or so I spent on that, too?
