projector seems to have a color shift

I have a projector and it has been awesome for a while, but suddenly there seems to be some type of color shift. The whole screen looks fine, but when there are occurences of white(it's really easy to tell with movie credits), there is a blue "shadow" to the left, and a yellow "shadow" to the right. It seems to me from this that maybe the blue and yellow lights are barely pointed to the wrong directions possibly, or one of the glasses is somehow pushed to a side? I can't remember when this started happening but it is driving me crazy.

Any ideas on why this is happening, or more importantly, what I can do to fix this?

If possible I would like to fix it myself, just not sure if anyone has ever been inside a projector, or at least would know where to look for a site where someone has.

Thanks, and sorry for the long post, and yes I googled before I posted.

At first I thought it might be the usual initial wearing in on the bulb that alters the colors a tad. But this looks as though it might be case of the rainbow effect. Is this a DLP projector? How fast is it's color wheel?
