Projector advice?

The wife is starting her own photography business and she's wanting to buy a projector to show clients their photos. She's trying to stay in the ballpark of $500-$750 if at all possible.

I know diddly-squat about projectors, so I'm hoping you all can throw me a bone!

Here's a few she's been looking at:

Sharp XR32S
Toshiba TDP XP2U

tough call. I am not sure the projectors in that price range (or any price range) will satisfy her resolution/colour tone corretness requirements. Any reason why she is not using a slide projector?
