Projection Alarm Clock?

Hello,
I got a X-mas list from my girlfriend...I've been pretty successful so far, but one thing I'm not sure of is the "Alarm clock that projects the time onto the ceiling" item that's on the list...I have found a few by Googling, but was wondering if any of you have ever bought one, if so, where and how much and how is it?
Thanks!

Shoulda continued Googling. Seem to sell for $30-90. You can buy 'em at Oreck.com, Amazon.com, etc. ...

Sharper Image sells some (pricey there though)

I thought I saw some that were *reasonable* in their "outlet" section

I got one as a gift from Sharper Image. It's easily the best alarm clock I've ever had. It's atomic so I don't have to mess with setting the time and the alarm isn't loud like the other ones so it doesn't scare the hell out of me when I wake up.

The alarm is just a small beep that gradually gets louder so if you're a heavy sleeper, this might not be the best bet since it has no volume controls.

I actually can't find my model specifically, but there are several others that are similar to it so the volume thing might not apply. Mine is similar to this one.

Just check out sharperimage or ebay, there are lots of choices!

Oh good. I hate it when I buy non-atomic alarm clocks... open the box and a big pile of jumbled neutrons falls out... arg.

Kohl's has them on desplay by the menswear. It's $23, and it also is radio controlled to the atomic clock so it automatically sets itself.

We bought our Atomic Projection Alarm clock from Radio Shack when it was on sale for $29.99 it's been great!

It's aimed at the ceiling about 10 feet it front of us, so whenever we need to know the time just glance up at the wall.

I've seen the Oregon Scientific model at CostCo B&M for around $45, a great price.
