Project Lincoln still living rent free in Trump's head (2023 edition)

I wonder what the ratio of good truthful things he says about himself vs nasty false things he says about his enemies. I mean, I simply can't recall Trump revealing something that's actually both truthful and of a positive nature about himself. Like take his golf scores for example.

And thing is, every time he gets away with telling lies, a bunch of his supporters interpret that as "his sticking it to the libs" so "it's all good see?" It's just their way of sidestepping the fact that Trump lies and he lies all the time to such an extent that there's no way of ignoring it so what's a fella to do? It really is funny in a tragic kind of way. And now we have DeSantis and his very own version of this Trump phenomena where the truth simply don't matter anymore so the whole party is able to make up shit at will and "It's all good see?"
 
Trump doesn't play chess, never mind 11th dimensional chess... but if Trump brings the Lincoln Lads up and gullible liberals donate money to the Lincoln Lads instead of actual allies, then Trump still wins.
 
Not exactly "rent free" when all of their expenses are basically used to trash him and his allies.
 
Well if the Repubs at the top of the pile of shit they built for themselves want to do some pest control I'm all for it, although getting Trump out of the way so DeSantis can step in and step up doesn't seem to change anything policy or agenda-wise so it seems a simple matter of which poison they want to toss down their throats.

So for the time being, it seems The Lincoln Project folks favor DeSantis over Trump. Not much of an improvement in the way of swaying their gullibles that total victory is theirs for the taking, although a bunch of rats trying to choose who is going to lead them off their sinking ship is rather amusing to think about.
 
My view is that most Republicans who are against Trump are against him because he is an obstacle to the achievement of his and their own aims. He is more than incompetent. He's an impediment Republican success.
