I am building a SFF For my cousin.

The hardware so far consist of:

i7 975
Asus Rampage 2 Gene
3 x 2 Gig of DDR3.
Silverstone Strider 850W
X Lan Gear - Black Heart Edition

I have not decided on the gpu yet.

As you guys know, i am a manga/anime fan, so the name comes from "Negima"

Eva, is an overpowered 400+ yr Loli Vampire. I think the name is fitting seeing how the system will be an overpowered SFF. 🙄

So on with the log:

Here is the X Lan Gear:

I swaped the screws for red thumbscrews in the rear to add some bling:

Absolutely love the case because i can fit a TRUE inside:

The motherboard Tray:

The Case will vent hot air off the side and not rear:

The case also takes a psu up front and not rear:

A lot of people ask me how i test fans, and pumps.. so i decided to show off this guy:

Right now he's setup for fan testing, but that end is a molex head for pumps as well.

More to come as i progress on it.

I've been playing with the thought of getting something similar. Looks like a really nice build GL with it and update the thread! 🙂

bah i get insulted by my friends the hardest.. lol..

sorry, still waiting on gpu and ram.

And this build most definitely needs to be finished.
Its not even mine.

Aigo, what's your impression of this case? I read the thread over at [H] a long time ago, and it seemed like they have a number of build quality issues with the original version. Any idea if those have been corrected since then?

Also, how portable do you consider it to be? I'm happy with my NZXT Rogue for the moment, but I may eventually look for something that I can actually carry from place to place.

You can't buy the original version anymore unless you buy it 2nd-hand. Matthieu is working on the new revision, which will hopfully be released soon. NOTHING in the SFF case offering has a greater power/size ratio in mATX. The NZXT Rogue is twice the size in volume.

why don't you external the power supply ? more airflow potential - the firebird had no problems pushing 350w @ 20VDC to everything. heck you could probably rob a xbox360 brick

yea yea yea.. i know this project is going on too long.

i am still waiting on the video card to finish it up.

I dont see any problems with the psu.

its set up in a way so air flow is unidirectional.

Overall, by far the best SFF case i have worked with yet.

He is alive... quit trying to look busy at work and get this build done already!!!

AND ANSWER MY EMAIL!

If he'd answer my email, the video card problem would be addressed.
