My complaints about how the media covers Trump are legion but he really stepped on a big landmine by even mentioning this thing in a denial. Kudos to the right wing crazies for coming up with something that occupies a nearly perfect orbit for huge disapproval and that they can cover as a fringy shadowy yet plausible scheme.

At the conference, the Post said, Trump told attendees: “With Kevin and the staff, and I met so many of them now, I took pictures with among the most handsome, beautiful people I’ve ever seen.”

Trump ...Can you please stop pretending you don’t know what Project 2025 is? All of your people are in on it so if you truly don’t know what it is you are openly admitting that your people are actively betraying you before you even get started. Your denial shows your future administration is full of traitors three months in advance because you don’t know about a very public thing that no one is trying to hide from you, beyond the fact that they know damn well that you will never in your life even attempt to pick up a 900 page book much less read it. I know you expect a lot of people to believe a lot of dumb shit, but this one almost takes the cake.

"Asshats" isn't nearly strong enough.

I did post that in the other thread, but I think it needs more exposure.

What Bannon did (a plan to gut government institutions) looks very amateur small potatoes next to Project 2025. This shit is scary. It's literally billionaires like Thiel saying "fuck Democracy" and just taking over the government. They have a weak stooge in Trump, who very well may die in office if elected, and their boy Vance waiting to take over. I know conspiracy thinking is rampant and we've all seen too many Bond villains in movies, but this is really on the table. They've laid out the plans for all to see, yet still have these clandestine meetings (wonder why).

There are many ties to the Republicans and the Harris campaign needs to keep hammering them on it (and abortion).

Yes, what is most scary is they thought that the P2025 plans are relatively non-controversial and fine to publish, at least compared to what they talk about doing in secret that they won't publish...
