Programs Won't Uninstall

I was trying out new browsers and decided why not try Safari. Downloaded, unchecked all the things that it also wanted to download, didn't like it so much, and went to uninstall it.

When I opened the uninstall window I noticed Apple Application Support and Apple Software Update. So I tried to uninstall those first. Right clicked, Uninstall, 'are you sure you want to uninstall?', Yes, a loooong pause, then a window popped up that said 'Do you want this program to update software on your computer?'. I clicked No, the window went away and...no uninstallation(or whatever word would be used here). Repeated this for the other one and the same exact thing happened. Luckily, Safari uninstalled with no problem.

I don't suppose someone here knows what I can do?

I use Windows 7. I don't know what other information is needed...:$ So ask if you need to.

Dunno. Maybe "update software" means uninstall. You're updating its state, but that's kind of ambiguous. I'd let it update, and see what it does.

It's the same window that pops up to ask if I want to allow a program to change stuff on my computer (like when I'm installing something) so I'd really rather not allow something from Apple to have permission to 'update' anything on my computer. It just makes me very nervous and I'm not sure at all that it's only going to update itself.

ummmm .. without clicking yes on that popup it won't be able to uninstall itself, as it won't have access to remove anything from " Program Files" directory.

Apple software is so unbelievably bad. I hate quicktime and cant stand itunes. It is malware in my book.

I used the Revo Uninstaller. It worked and the things are gone and I am never downloading anything from Apple ever again! Yesh. Thank you for all of your suggestions, guys! ^^
