Programs to record while I play a game?

Does anyone know of a good program to record in-game stuff while I play? I saw that the paid version of fraps had that (I think), but I was wondering if there were any other good ones? TIA
 
My friend sets up his Digital Camcorder behind him and records his screen. Then uploads it to the computer for editing.

-You'll need an LCD monitor
-Digital or Analog Camcorder (Digital Recommended)
-Dark room with no glare
 
no LCD monitor, dark room, OR digital camera. haha. thanks for the suggestion though. i'll try out hypercam later. thanks for the suggestions guys.

FYI this will mainly be for CS
 
i've been using fraps, but in CS 1.6 it slows things to a crawl (15 fps no matter what resolution or FPS in fraps setting), and in Source it lags it down pretty good. is there any way to get around this? are all programs like this? my rig is in my sig.
