Programs to check motherboard

First, apologizes if this is in the wrong forum.

Secondly, I have a motherboard, A7N8X-X.

Installed FreeBSD 6.0 on it. Worked fine for a while, now it just keeps freezing on me.

Tried Linux on there, without any issues (but I really would like to have FreeBSD on there)

Wondering if it's hardware or software related at this point.

Anyone know of a software program to check the intergrity of the motherboard?

If it's working fine in Linux then it's most likely software releated. I thought FreeBSD included a kernel debugger in it, doesn't it give you any backtrace or anything or does it just lockup hard?
