i have a little problem guys and i don't have this before but just lately, some of my programs when i use them it tells me that its not installed for the current user and prompts me to insert the installation disk... there's is just one account and it's mine as an administrator, done all installation under my account... it started out with the office programs then now lately i've observed that its affecting others too...
i've uninstalled and reinstalled the affected programs but still it recurs... i tried typical installation(usually i do custom with all the options checked) and it still the same problem... if i insert the installation disk, then the program runs... what the heck?! will i just be doing this all the time????
what could be the issue here? is it my registry getting messed up? is it the OS? im running winxp sp2...
