Hi guys, I've got a problem that's killing me, I can't figure it out.

When I attempt to open Powerpoint, it opens up (I see the powerpoint message box come up and disapear). I then get an icon on the Taskbar, but the program is on somewhere to the right of my screen and I can't see it. If I click on the button on the Taskbar I can see the program come up but it goes real quick out of the screen. if I hit the maximize text on the menu on the Taskbar I still can't see it. I've tried all screen resolutions from 800/600 to 1280/1024 and I still can't see it. I've tried to move the mouse out of the screen and try to drag it back in about 200 times but since I can't see it I can't drag it into view. i even tried removing Office 2003 and reinstalling it, but it still does the same thing. All the other programs Word, etc work fine. I have been seeing a few advertisements that go out of the screen lately and i have closed them through the button on the Taskbar. I wonder if this is related. I've tried System restore on three different points but it won't let me restore, it tells me it couldn't restore to that point.

Anyone know how to get this program to show in my screen? I have a bug presentation due tomorrow morning and this is killing me thanks, Tom

Try a keyboard shortcut. If your keyboard has Windows keys, first Maximize PowerPoint, then hit the menu key, then hit and release the M key for Move, then hit the LeftArrow key to move the PowerPoint window to the left until it comes into view. If that doesn't work, try ALT M instead of just M. My keyboard is a 1984 IBM M-series, and has no Windows keys, so I can't test that in person

Any good?

Wow, thanks a lot. I saw the option for Move but using the mouse the curser turned into a 4 headed arrow and I couldn't find what to grab onto. I didn't realize the arrow keys moved the screen over. Anyways that worked great, I'll have to remember that one.
