Programs not recognizing video card as x800XT

Every program that I've run where it tries to recognize the video card (3DMark05/03, Halo PC, Morrowind) all register it as 'Radeon X800 Series' instead of an X800XT. 3DMark still recognizes the VGA Memory Clock + Core speed at 499.5Mhz, which is what the X800XT is advertised as. I've also gotten scores of 5500 on Mark05 and 11800 on Mark03, so I don't believe it's inability to be recognized is affecting the actual performance. Should I just not worry about this, or is it going to affect me in a bad way?

The Video card is the Sapphire Atlantis (blue PCB) X800 XT. 3DMark recognizes everything else correctly as far as I know.

3DMark has never been particularly accurate at detecting which exact model of card you have. For instance, 3DMark03 reports any RADEON 9800 as a "RADEON 9800 Series GPU", even though that includes the 9800SE, 128-bit '9800Pro', 9800, 9800Pro, and 9800XT, which differ vastly in performance (at least it's usually pretty good at getting the clockspeeds).

Plus, as pointed out, an X800XT *is* an X800-series GPU.

Don't worry about it.

I understand it is an x800 series card, but there are plenty of builds on the ORB at 3Dmark with specific X800XT GPU's.

Alright, so there's no problem. Thanks.
