Programming Non Volitile SRAM

Any computer tech veterans out there who might be familiar with a 1991 Dell Horizontal Console 486 Model 433E (EISA) 33mhz computer. It's my tertiary computer, worked fine up til a few months ago, used primarily to read and copy old 5-1/4' Floppies to 3-1/4"'s Believe the two replacable Lithium Battery IC's DS 1287 RTC (Real Time Clock) chip and the DS1225, NOVSRAM, 8KX8(Non Volatie SRAM) require replacement. Present day Dell Tech Support Guys don"t have clue about the system or its parts.
Have found current direct replacement items at Digikey but the SRAM is blank and I don't know if original Dell Setup disks, all of which I have, can activate the SRAM, or whether when system was first sold by Dell, it originally was fully or perhaps partially programmed sort of boot strap manner????
Much obliged for any info from all you experts out there.

The 1225 is for the EISA configuration NVM (actually a DS1225Y-150)
The Battery/system configuration NVM is a DS-1287A.

If you have the EISA Library diskette you can reset the NVM.
It is part of the Dell Resource Configuration Utilities.

Dell does not have it available for Download on their site for the 433e, but
rather for the 433te. Being so long ago, I do not remember if there is a difference.
