Anyone here have any experience programming the Adtran TSU-120e?

Currently my company has a T1 line split as follows.
8 channels for Data and 16 for long distance phones. We want to reverse that so we can run video conferencing between the home office and here.
Any nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

I've set up the 120 once in a lab but I don't really remember how to do it. It's not that hard though so you could just check the manual.

Is this a point-to-point T1 between the 2 offices?

Yes, the 8 data channels go to our home office and the phones go to our provider.
I've purused the manual but didn't see anything specific.

Well if that's the case the first thing you're going to need to do is see about having your T1 reprovisioned so that you have 16 channels going to the remote location and 8 going to the provider's phone network. I'm sure there will be some billing issues involved there.

I wish I could be of more help on reprogramming the 120. It seems like you have to go in and edit the map, select each channel individually and assign it to one the ports that you have on the unit. I know it's easier to do it by consoling into it rather than using the front panel.

Yep you're right.
The re-provisioning is supposed to be done by the middle of March.
I telenet'd into the thing and took a look at the DSO map that it was running on.
You can clearly see which DSO's are for the phones and which are for data. A little editing and I'm golden.

Thanks for the replies.
