program to wipe usb flash drives

ive used dariks boot and nuke from a bootable cd before, but im looking for something to wipe INSIDE windows. And im not just wiping usb flash drives. Id also like to wipe my phone while mounted so people cant recover pictures or anything after i sell it.

Just write data over the whole drive. Flash drives are not like hard drives where overwritten data can be read at the forensic level.

seems like more work than a program that would just zero out the whole drive.

For example i just used recuva on an old phone that im gonna give away, and i found pictures on it that were deleted a long time ago (and new pictures had been taken since).

zeroing out the drive should solve the problem, but what software does that?

You could use the secure erase feature on a Parted Magic iso.

In both Windows Vista and 7, you can use the /p switch of the format command to zero a drive.

There's also eraser for data shredding\destruction.
