Program to tell if two documents written by same person?

I have heard there are programs which can analyze two written documents (not the handwriting, but the text that make up the documents) and establish the probability that the documents were written by the same person. Presumably it would analyze sentence structure, diction, any slang or unusual sayings or constructions, misspellings etc.

Anyone know where I might be able to obtain such a program?

I know there are some applications that will scan two documents side-by-side and determine the differences between them regarding the text. I think some of the older Norton Utilities had this program included. However, it just found differences in the text -- it didn't search for grammar, slang, etc.

If you did find something it would probably be:

1. Unreliable
2. Academic
3. Expensive as hell
