Program to make all WMA into MP3

I need a free program that (in bulk) can convert all my WMA that I got from my CDs into MP3s for my iPod

I don't have my pc in front of me(and you cant convert WMAs on the mac version of itunes), but if you go into the preferences -> Advanced -> Importing and change the importer to MP3 I thought it allowed you to convert from WMA to MP3. I wont be near my pc anytime soon so I can't check though.

Itunes can do it, you just need to change in the preferences to make MP3 Files.

You shouldn't do that, going from one lossy format to another will make the files sound worse.

If the device can't play WMA files, then the files will sound like complete silence.
