Is there a program to identify what IC's are used in your ram chips? Thanks.

In Windows, use Thaiphoon Burner:

Get the freeware version.
Well thats a pretty cool little program. It identified my Corsair vengeance ram and said it used Micron chips. It says a lot of other things to but I don't understand it....haha but that's ok.

my Gskill F4-3000C15-8GVKB is hynix H5AN8G8NMFR-TFC chips.

Which is fine, my Corsair 3600mhz kit i have on order should be samsung :)
