Program that will Secure Delete files

Hi,

We have a client at work that is looking to get if it is possible a secure delete program that will remove almost all traces of emails from the system, so it will be really difficulty to recover. (get sensitve finacial info from credit unions)

Im aware of low level hard drive erasers that will do like a 7 pass nsa level erase of the drive, but looking for something that will do files and primarly emails.

Good sugguestions but what I was looking for more was something like eraser that will intergrate into an email client (either outlook express or outlook, cant remember which one the client is using at the moment) and delete the email it self and fill in some crap data so cannot retrieve the email back.

What Im looking for is something like eraser but worked within emails.
