Program that installs a lot of "necessary" programs, makes life easier for formats?

Hey guys, several weeks ago, I remember stumbling upon a program that was meant to make the formatting/reinstalling Windows process easier. This program, once installed, would essentially present a dialog full of check boxes to select from a variety of programs to install, such as Chrome, Pidgin, and so on. Upon instruction, the program would then automatically install all the selected programs. This program would be very convenient to know, but I can't remember the name. Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?
