OT has faster response time for you wrong forum nazis

My company uses a DOS program for sampling and we have to go into the BIOS and change the speed to something compatible (i forgot what name exactly) because the program crashes when we run the sample. Is there a program that allows you to artifically slow down your computer so I don't have to go to the bios to run the program?
