Well so far I have found one program that does what I want it to do but I really would prefer getting something that is freeware as opposed to shareware. Basically I'm looking for a piece of software that will allow you to schedule times and days and streams to be ripped. There are several talk shows that I listen to via the net and since I can't always catch them I'd like to record them so I can listen to them when I get home from work. Yes these shows do put up copies of the stream within the next day or so but I'm kindof impatient :). So if somebody could point me in the direction of a freeware program it would be appreciated. For now I guess I'll be using Blaze Audio's Power Recorder.

you'll have to check it out (as i'm not sure that it supports scheduled ripping), but take a look at streamripper. it's quite good freeware that will even split mp3s off as the track name changes. you can search it up at sourceforge.net
